No experience needed. All bodies and ages welcome.
Join us for a radically different kind of self-care
Yin Yoga isn’t about sweating or pushing:it’s about softening.
In this floor-based practice, postures are supported with props and held for several minutes. Not with effort or strain, but with ease and stillness. The goal isn’t to stretch as far as you can, but to gently invite release physically, emotionally, and energetically. Brave Rest offers you space to slow down, breathe deeper, and listen inward.
This is self-care for the part of you that’s been running on empty.
No flexibility or yoga experience needed. This class is accessible for all bodies and ages.

Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice where poses are held for several minutes to gently target the deeper layers of the body—like fascia, joints, and connective tissue. With the support of props and stillness, it invites the nervous system to settle, the breath to deepen, and the mind to soften. It’s a deeply restorative experience that helps improve flexibility, increase energetic flow, and bring you back to balance. Gentle and adaptable, Yin is accessible for all bodies—no experience or flexibility required.
Yin Yoga is for anyone who feels tired, tense, or stretched too thin. It’s especially supportive for people who spend a lot of time on the go, hold stress in their body, or struggle to slow down—even when they know they need rest. Whether you're brand new to yoga or have years of experience, this practice meets you exactly where you are.
Every pose is fully supported and adaptable, making it a safe and nourishing space for all ages, body types, and mobility levels.
We utilize a yoga mat, two yoga blocks, and a yoga bolster during class. Bringing your own is encouraged, but we do have extras available on a first-come, first-served basis. Comfortable, loose clothing is best—think layers you can truly relax in. You're also welcome to bring a water bottle and fill up on our Scalar-Charged water during class. Some students enjoy bringing an eye pillow for an added layer of calm and comfort during the longer holds.
You don’t have to come every week, but your body will thank you if you do. Yin works cumulatively. With each session, your system learns to unwind a little more deeply. That said, it’s okay to come when you can. Every class meets you where you are, and your body will respond either way.
Not at all. Yin Yoga isn’t about how far you can stretch. It’s about how deeply you can soften. Every pose is supported with props and can be adapted to meet your body exactly as it is. Whether you consider yourself flexible or not, this practice is here to help you release tension, not create it.
You don’t need to be bendy. You just need to be willing to slow down.
Yes. This class is designed to be accessible for everyone, including complete beginners. You don’t need any yoga experience to benefit from this practice. Each pose is guided, supported with props, and fully adaptable to your body. Whether it’s your first time on a mat or your hundredth, you’ll be met with a calm, welcoming space where there’s nothing to prove, just an opportunity to unwind and reconnect.
Class lasts 90 minutes. We recommend arriving about 10 minutes early to settle in, gather your props, and create a comfortable space before we begin. We start promptly at 6:30p to honor everyone's time.
You're absolutely welcome in class. Yin Yoga is a gentle, adaptable practice, and most poses can be modified to meet your needs. If you’re working with an injury, recovering from something, or have a specific concern, please let Bobbi know before class begins so she can support you appropriately.
As with any movement practice, it’s important to get clearance from your treating physician before attending if you have a medical condition or are healing from an injury. Your safety and comfort are always the priority.
This class is designed to be a deeply personal and inward experience. Bobbi may occasionally offer gentle, optional energy support, such as light touch or energetic clearing, to help enhance relaxation and alignment. That said, all hands-on interaction is fully optional and always done with care and consent. If you prefer not to receive touch or energy work during class, just let Bobbi know before class. Your boundaries will be fully respected.
Yin Yoga itself isn't tied to a specific religion. It’s a quiet, supportive practice that helps you slow down and reconnect with your body. There’s no chanting, doctrine, or spiritual requirement. Many students find it complements their personal beliefs or faith traditions, while others simply enjoy it as a form of deep rest.
You’re always welcome to come as you are, bring your own values with you, and take from the practice what feels supportive.
Note: We intentionally do not use the word “Namaste” in class out of respect for its cultural and spiritual roots. This is part of our effort to honor the tradition of yoga without contributing to cultural appropriation.
